From Paris to Copenhagen: Summer

This is a hymn to summer. In Scandinavia we celebrate midsummer : In Sweden it's the midsummer celebration around the flower covered pole, in Denmark the big celebration is on the evening of the 23. where fires a lit everywhere and people sing while celebrating Sct. Hans.

Midsummer is the time of white nights, midnight sun (at least in the Northern parts of Scandinavia), night swimming and outside meals and get-togethers, eating scrimps, strawberries and drinking white wine and elder flower ales.
